We have built Southern Palms Studio around a strong team that focuses on creativity, quality and service to our clients. But in all seriousness, we try to not to be too serious. Keep reading to learn more about us, and hopefully we will see you on your wedding day.
Zack & lauren
With 20+ years in the industry, we launched Southern Palms Studio to provide wedding photography and videography to more couples. We oversee the management of the day-to-day studio operations including meetings with clients, event scheduling, editing, and the overall back-end work in order to make the best possible product for our couples!
Hailey
Hailey is one of our lead photographers. She has a love of being with people when they celebrate milestones. She photographs weddings, delivers babies on the side, and is always available when your children go off to their first day of kindergarten or move off to college. With more than 12 years of photography experience, Hailey doesn't miss a detail or an opportunity to eat dessert.
Steve
Steve is a lead videographer, photographer and drone pilot. When he is not behind the camera making you look amazing on your special day, you can find him on the beach with his wife or chasing waves around the world.
Kirk
Kirk is a lead photographer and videographer and was born and raised in Southern California. He has production experience in broadcast, short film, commercial, and everything in between. He aims to tell your personal story in a way that is interesting and makes you look and feel your very best. Count on him to lead you in the right direction for your biggest moments!
Austin
Austin is a photographer and lead videographer who is obsessed with the craft, filmmaking, and video games. He is (except for in this photo) always smiling and ready to capture all of your moments. When he’s not behind a camera, he likes to sing and dance, when no one is paying attention of course.
Ashley
Ashley is one of our lead photographers and has been in the local wedding industry for over 10 years. She has always had a passion for photography, and loves capturing all of the details- from wedding flat lays to tiny baby hands. Ashley is a wifey and a mom of two babies, and two German shepherds. When she isn’t capturing special moments, she loves Harry Potter, gettin’ nerdy, long road trips, and drankin’ margaritas.
Shaun
Shaun is another one of our lead videographers and drone pilot. He'll spend your wedding day capturing beautiful footage that makes for an amazing highlight video for you. He is married to Hailey, so if you get them both on your big day, it's sure to be magical. During his time off, he enjoys sharing good food with good people, coaching his kids' soccer team, and mountain biking.
Kelsey
Kelsey is one of our lead photographers. She absolutely loves all things weddings. When she's not behind the camera being your hype woman, she is venturing outdoors with her husband and golden retriever. With a passion for capturing moments, it is her ultimate goal to make you feel like a rockstar in front of the camera whether you're celebrating a high school graduation, growing your business, or becoming newlyweds.
Rikka
Rikka is one of our lead photographers. When she isn't behind the lens, she volunteers at her church, goes camping with her boys, enjoys the beach, plays badminton, watches Forge in Fire, or can be found singing karaoke.
Lisa
Lisa is our virtual Studio Manager and is your go-to contact throughout the wedding planning process. When she isn't answering emails and keeping us organized in the office, she can be found keeping her family's calendar in order and going on adventures with her two kids.
Sean
Sean's enthusiasm for photography and editing sparked in his early years and continues to this day. As a committed video editor, he's devoted to creating cinematic wedding films that narrate the distinctive love stories of each couple captured by our remarkable team. Occasionally you may find him behind the lens at your wedding as well! During his off hours, he enjoys exploring the country's National Parks with his wife and undertaking various DIY projects at home.
