There’s something extra sweet about a love story that begins in a place of care—and for Jordan and Zach, it all started behind masks and hospital scrubs.
They first met as nurses working through the chaos of COVID, where Zach noticed Jordan’s eyes long before he got to know her heart. Jordan had to break him out of his shell, but once she did, something clicked—and the rest, as they say, is history.
One of their favorite early memories together? Fireworks through the supply room window—proof that even the most ordinary places can hold a little magic when you’re with the right person.
Zach later proposed on the dock at Jordan’s childhood home, a place layered with old memories, now made new with the promise of forever. And on May 10th, surrounded by their favorite people and the soft waterside breeze of Fernandina, they said “I do” at the stunning @oysterbayyachtclub.
From the start, Zach and Jordan wanted a wedding that felt true to them: simple, classic, and elegant. Their color palette of white, black, green, and gold set a timeless tone, with subtle nods to their coastal setting—yes, even oysters made their way into the day!

When asked what part of the day they were most excited about, Jordan and Zach didn’t hesitate: the reception. And they were right—it was a party for the books, filled with laughter, dancing, and just the right amount of wild.
For couples planning their own wedding, Jordan’s advice is simple: “Plan early and don’t take everyone else’s opinions too seriously.” We couldn’t agree more.
The newlyweds are heading to the Dominican Republic this month for their honeymoon (after plenty of margs this summer at La Nop, of course). And now that the day has come and gone, they’re most looking forward to one thing: feeling settled.
